First active stylus for the iPad

I’m very much excited for this though I haven’t got the dough in the bank right now to order one (xmas and one too many impulse purchases). Finally, someone has made an active stylus for the iPad and the video looks amazing, it is a little difficult to tell from it but it still looks slightly laggy but nothing compared to the chunky stylus pens available currently. Melbourne Cup transformation

People are mesmerised by all the beautiful ladies walking around the city heading to the races. Some won’t be so beautiful by this afternoon, watch them all come stumbling back falling over in their high heels. They go through a transformation through the day and don’t come back as ‘ladies’. Very funny to watch, it should be a sport.

Scored a bargain on this! Retails around $370, brought from JB for $295. 16MP, HD video, manual modes, built in GPS, EXR modes and more! Only 15x optical zoom however it’s other features outweighed 30x optical zoom on other compacts. Plus this thing shoots in RAW and supports SDXC cards.

Camera lens for the iPhone

I almost fell off my chair when I heard you could get lens addons for iPhones. I see the novelty in it however I would rather invest money into a good digital camera or DSLR. :-/

The Olloclip 3-in-1 Lens and Schneider iPro Lens System were reviewed by iPhoneography. I later discovered you could mount your DSLR lens to an iPhone, absurd! Here’s one review, click here. Each to their own I suppose.

I haven’t posted much to my blog in a while so here is a random post. Much to my delight, I have since finished my university studies and expect to graduate this December. I will hopefully be done with my management Diploma in a week also. Then freedom!!!!!!!!!! Some of which has been granted since uni finished anyway so in it’s place I got addicated to Instagram and iPhoneography. To your right, on the main page of my blog you will find my Tumblr and Instagram widgets.

Wow, what an incredibly sad day. People can say all they want about Apple and their products but Steve was a visionary and true leader more so than an icon. Sad human loss.

1 Point Office Dares Key Performance Objective (KPO)

1. Look at an email and then run out of office screaming “Oh my god they’ve found me”.
2. Leave an empty pistol holster on your desk, when asked about the location of the gun say “depends, which side are you on?”
3. Mess with contrast until your monitor looks really bright or dark, tell people it looks fine to you.
4. Give each other buzz words prior to team meetings – the winner is the one who says their word the most. Extra points if the boss says it too.
5. Spill coffee on the conference table. Produce a little paper boat and sail it down the table.

2 Point Office Dares KPO

1. At the end of a meeting, suggest that, for once, it would be nice to conclude with the singing of the national anthem (extra points if you actually launch into it yourself).
2. Walk into a very busy person’s office and while they watch you with growing irritation, turn the light switch on/off 10 times.
3. Repeat the following conversation 10 times to the same person: “Do you hear that?” “What?” “Never mind, it’s gone now”.
4. Come to work in army fatigues and when asked why, say, “I can’t talk about it”.
5. Hang a two-foot long piece of toilet roll from the back of your pants and act genuinely surprised when someone points it out.

It’s not fair

No one should joke about someone leaving a company under good circumstances. A recent employee left and as per company communication policy and annoucement went out, well, this opened the flood gates to about 5 further emails relating to this mans departure from the company. Something I have never seen in my 3.5 years working here. I must meet this man! Without further a due, here is a humorous tag along sent to a select few peers about the matter.

Team, just to remind you all in case you haven’t heard that Mr. Popular is leaving today.

I’m angered that there has not been enough communication in regards to this man’s departure from the company because I feel that email alone does not suffice. Someone should contact the medias, the emergency broadcast system, the gossip queens, shout from the roof tops – people have the right to know!

Frankly I’m little concerned with what the future has in store for us now that Mr. Popular is gone?

Can we go on without Mr. Popular?

I have even devoted an Outlook rule to this great man to handle any email or calendar request so I don’t have to be reminded any more – its just too hard.
