My new Copic markers!

The Chooky Dancers!

Check this out! They did a better act on the Comedy Gala though.

Hooray, they have been dispatched today! Can’t wait.

I made a decision to just buy the Ciao markers, they’re less expensive than Sketch and Original with a few less benefits e.g. cannot replace nibs or use with the airbrush, neither of which concern me.

The colours I brought are below. I had to get a couple of Sketch ones to complete the colour set I wanted.

Mac OS X + VMWare + Windows

Recently I brought a new 24″ iMac (just before the recent upgrades) making the move away from my MacBook Pro to a Mac desktop. I do also have a Windows box but it’s now being used as a file server after I made the move to Mac OS. Still requiring a use for Windows and not wanting to muck around swapping monitor cables from my external monitor on my iMac to the Windows box (can’t be bothered buying a KVM), I installed VMWare Fusion with Windows XP SP2 loaded. It is running really well, very stable and is yet to have any hiccups. It’s only being used to run a web application and MS Office however.

Here are some screenshots in the various modes:

For testing, I’ve also loaded Windows 7 Beta and it also runs very nicely:
